The inhumane policies of the US have reached such a level of disgrace that an American air force [officer] sets himself on fire. This means that this [situation in Gaza] is too much even for that young person who was brought up in that culture. Even his conscience was hurting. Of course, instead of one person, a thousand people should have set themselves on fire. [But] being immersed in corruption doesn’t allow this. Now, one person’s conscience had been awakened by chance, and he set himself on fire. Western culture truly introduced itself, exposed itself, and revealed how corrupt, how perverted, and how cruel it is.
