In a message to Ayatollah Khamenei, the Palestinian Prime Minister Mr. Ismail Haniya thanked the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Iranian nation for their brave and constant support for the Palestinian nation, the people of Gaza, and the Islamic resistance forces. In the message, Mr. Haniya said: "On behalf of myself and the Palestinian nation, and the wounded yet victorious people of Gaza, I express my heartfelt greetings and gratitude to you and the great Iranian nation for the prominent Islamic stance which you adopted [during the war in Gaza]."

Grand Ayatollah Khamenei,
In the Name of Allah
It is an honor for me to express my sincere gratitude to you for the prominent, brave Islamic stance which you adopted towards the people of Gaza. I express my gratitude on behalf of the Palestinian government and nation, and the wounded yet victorious people of Gaza. Your prominent and brave stance towards the people of Gaza is indicative of the great soul of the leader and people of Iran.
Your words and messages both prior to and during the tough days of war in Gaza, instilled the spirit of grandeur, vigilance, and resistance into the people of Gaza and the Palestinian resistance forces in their battle against the enemies.
Under your sagacious leadership, the Islamic Republic of Iran was actively present on all fronts, especially at the Doha summit on Gaza. These efforts provided assistance to the helpless people of Gaza and raised new hopes among the people of Palestine.
By its support on various fronts, the Islamic Republic of Iran contributed to the resistance of the Palestinian people. The victory of the people of Gaza in their recent war is the second victory of Islamic resistance forces after the war in southern Lebanon. May God reward you and the Iranian nation for the help and support which you provided for the Palestinian people.
Under your leadership, the Iranian nation has made great efforts and taken various measures to support the Palestinian people. These efforts are an honor for us, and I express my gratitude to you for these efforts. The people of Palestine - particularly the people of Gaza - still need your political and non-political support as well as the support of your people for reconstruction, overcoming the problems caused by the enemies' invasion, and reducing the costs of war which have been imposed by the enemies.
The Palestinian people need to live a free and honorable life, protected from the enemies' invasion if Gaza is to regain its power and grandeur. This is a goal which can be realized by Allah's favor and by the constant support which you and the Muslim Iranian nation provide for us in our battle against the criminal US and Zionist regimes.
On behalf of the Palestinian nation, I thank you and the Iranian nation for your support.
