The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei visited the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini (r.a.) this morning. In his visit, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei recited the first chapter of the Holy Quran [Sura al-Fatiha] and paid tribute to Imam Khomeini (r.a.).
The visit was made on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution and the historic return of Imam Khomeini (r.a.) to Tehran.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution later visited the tombs of the martyrs of Tir 7 (June 28) and prayed to God to bestow upon them the highest position in the hereafter.
