Ayatollah Khamenei the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces met today with the commanders and personnel of the Iranian Navy. Speaking at the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the Islamic Republic has gained valuable experience and made great progress against the enemies' will.
His Eminence further reiterated: "The Islamic Republic, by relying on God and using all it resources, has now turned into a regional power, and this is a fact that the enemies of the Islamic Republic admit as well."
Ayatollah Khamenei also touched upon the sacrifices made by the Iranian Navy's personnel on November 28, 1980 and said that the Islamic Republic's Navy enjoys great capacities and potentialities.
Ayatollah Khamenei further added: "Spirituality and attention to God are two factors which help one make better decisions, and this is a promise which has been made by God."
Elsewhere in his speech, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said that the Islamic Republic's Army belongs to both Islam and the Islamic Republic and said that the revolutionary origin and the great capacities of the army are important factors which will prove their significance whenever needed. Ayatollah Khamenei further said that the remarkable sacrifices made by the personnel of the Islamic Republic's Air Force and Navy during the imposed war are a case in point.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also referred to the great human and moral capacities of the Islamic Republic's Navy besides its military and operational abilities and said: "Currently, the highly capable Iranian youth have managed to produce the most sophisticated arms and are able to carry out repairs whenever necessary."
