"And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of God as dead; rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." (Quran 3:169)
We offer condolences and congratulations to the Master of the Age and Time, Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the Islamic Ummah, the free people of the world, and the great Iranian nation, on the great and blessed martyrdom of our Leader and Guardian, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may his soul be sanctified) — who has attained the greatest medal of honor, sincerity, resistance, and devotion in the way of God Almighty: the medal of martyrdom on the path of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
As I mourn the departure of this godly scholar and divine Leader with a heart laden with pain and wounds, and a soul filled with grief and anguish, I feel at the same time immense pride and honor that the Leader of the Ummah, its Guide, and its Guardian, has ascended to the mercy and pleasure of his Lord in the greatest of months and the best of days — the month of Ramadan — while leading the march of jihad and resistance against the tyrannical and oppressive American and Israeli enemies, the foes of religion and humanity. He has thus attained the supreme triumph and exalted honor, sealing his blessed and noble life with the divine medal of martyrdom.
Our Guardian and Leader has ascended to heaven standing firm, steadfast, and brave, anticipating his reward from God Almighty. He leaves behind tens of millions of devotees of Wilayah, leaders who will continue to carry the banner and follow the path, and nations that will remain in the field proclaiming authentic Islam of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), supporting the truth, striving for the liberation of Palestine and al-Quds, and upholding the resistance that delivers the oppressed from the tyranny of arrogance, occupation, dependency, and submission.
That the tyrannical American and criminal Zionist aggression should target our Guardian, our Leader, and the Leader of the Ummah, Imam Khamenei (may his soul be sanctified), along with a number of leaders, officials, and innocent sons of the Iranian nation — this is the height of criminality. This assassination is a stain of shame on the forehead of all humanity. The Zionist killers of prophets oppress the peoples of the world with a tyranny supported by the Greater Satan, America, as part of a sinful and dangerous aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and all that it represents to the honorable, free, and resistant people of the world.
We, in Hezbollah, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, and all those who support and back this authentic Khomeini line, will continue the path with determination, steadfastness, and a spirit of martyrdom that knows no fatigue or boredom, and accepts no humiliation. We will forever remain at the forefront of those struggling for the liberation of the land and of humanity, following the path of the Master of the Martyrs of the Ummah, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may his soul be sanctified).
We will fulfill our duty in confronting aggression, confident in God's victory, support, and assistance. "And victory is not except from God. Indeed, God is Exalted in Might and Wise." (Quran 8:10)
No matter the sacrifices, we will never abandon the field of honor and resistance, nor the confrontation of the American tyranny and Zionist criminality, in defense of our land, our dignity, and our independent choices.
In my own name and in the name of my brothers in the Leadership Council of Hezbollah, all the sons and fighters of Hezbollah, and the resistance community in Lebanon, I extend the most sublime expressions of condolence and congratulations to the Master of the Age and Time, Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the senior religious authorities, the seminaries, the entire Islamic Ummah, the free and oppressed peoples of the world, our dear brothers in the leadership of the Islamic Republic — including the President of the Iranian Republic, the government, the parliament, the Iranian army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the great Iranian nation, and the noble and sacrificing family of the Leader — on this immense loss. We pledge to you, our Master, Leader Khamenei, to remain steadfast on your path and your line — the line of jihad, resistance, confrontation with the arrogant, support of truth and the oppressed — with firm certainty and unyielding resolve, until the realization of all the values, principles, and constants of dignity, honor, sovereignty, freedom, and independence, to which you devoted your noble life in service.
