Ayatollah Khamenei attended a Muharram mourning ceremony on the eve of Ashura 2021

The fourth night of Muharram mourning ceremonies was held tonight on August 18, 2021, in Imam Khomeini Hussainiyyah with Ayatollah Khamenei in attendance. This year too, due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the Leader’s insistence on following the health protocols, the ceremonies are held without the presence of the people.
