Verse 118 in Surah Al-Saffat states, “We guided Moses and Aaron to the straight path” (Quran 37:118). This becomes clear when you look at the lives of Moses and Aaron. In their lives, they refused to obey the taghuts and the rule of an entity other than God. Furthermore, they endured all kinds of hardships on this way. They constantly strove to guide their people, to rescue them from the rule of taghuts, and to lead them toward the rule of God. In Chapter Yaseen, God tells the Prophet (pbuh), “You are indeed one of the messengers, on the straight path” (Quran 36:3-4). You have seen this in Moses’ life that a prophet’s way, his orientation, and the path he takes is the straight path.
