There is also a fourth type of guidance which we call “guidance for special people.” This is for a special group of the believers, not all believers. It is a very high-level, delicate guidance that is for the prophets and Friends of God. A verse in Chapter Al-Anam addresses the Prophet, saying, “They are the ones whom Allah has guided, so follow their guidance” (Quran 6:90). There are some things, some signs, some special guidance, that the chosen people receive from God. [Sometimes] you see when certain people hear a verse being recited from the Quran, they understand some allusions that are being made in it. Some words contain guidance for them that is incomprehensible for us. All of these are divine guidance. This is the meaning of guidance.
