Five Palestinian groups thanked Imam Khamenei for his speech on Quds Day by way of separate letters. In the letters, these groups stressed the continuation of the path of Resistance until the freedom of Holy Quds, describing the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s positions on Quds Day as the roadmap for the liberation of Palestine.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (the command office), Fath al-Intifada, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (the political office) Palestinian Popular Struggle Front, and the Coalition of Palestinian Forces stressed the role of the Islamic Republic as the pivot of unity and resistance in Islamic countries and commemorated the name and memory of martyr Qasem Soleimani in reviving the ideal of Palestine.
In his live televised speech delivered on May 7, 2021, which contained both Persian and Arabic sections, Ayatollah Khamenei stated that the balance of power swayed in the favor of the world of Islam and pointed to the increase of both quantitative and qualitative power of the Resistance forces as proof for this. He also mentioned that the Zionist regime is declining and that the fight against the usurping regime should continue until a referendum is held with the participation of all Palestinians inside and outside of Palestine in order to determine the future political system of Palestine.

The eyes of the world were fixed on Tehran to listen to the speech of Imam Khamenei, the Imam of the Muslims and helper of the oppressed. This speech was delivered on the 42nd anniversary of Imam Khomeini’s resonating call announcing the last Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan to be the day of helping Quds and its oppressed residents. These are people who have been under the oppression of the occupying Zionist regime, occupiers who have desecrated Al-Aqsa Mosque and made consistent efforts to Judaize and divide it in order to be able to destroy it and build their imaginary temple.
This speech was given at a time when demonstrations had spread in Palestine and a mob of Zionist settlers had launched a brutal attack on Quds. The Zionist settlers offended the sanctities and assaulted the inhabitants of Quds in the area of Bab al-Amoud and in the neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah by beating, shooting and throwing tear gas at them. They also threw excrement and sewage at them in order to disperse the people holding a sit-in and the defenders of the sanctities.
As we expected, Imam Khamenei unequivocally expressed his support and willingness to stand with Quds and its inhabitants by backing the Resistance of the Palestinians and their armed battalions’ by any means that increases their capability for being able to prevent the avarice of the occupiers and the corrupt mob of (Zionist) settlers. This large, widespread support announced by Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has had a considerable effect on empowering the fighters in Gaza, the West Bank, and Quds, and in the fight against the Zionist enemies. This has caused the enemy to reconsider a thousand times any idiotic attack on our oppressed people and sanctities.
Imam Khamenei has played the greatest role in instituting the equation of blood in return for blood, wound in return for wound and fear in return for fear. Imam Khamenei also disgraced those who support compromise, making a peace, and the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime. He holds them responsible for the oppression being shown by the Zionist settlers and their being encouraged to assault Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The uprising of the people in Quds and the bravery of our nation in defending Quds has confirmed the correctness of Imam Khamenei’s predictions that this oppressive enemy only understands the language of resistance and deterrence.
In their resolute Resistance, the inhabitants of Quds and all of Palestine have been inspired by your great Resistance in facing the global Arrogant Powers. We have also witnessed the retreat of the Arrogant Powers due to the resolve of the Leader of Iran and their admission of your rightful demands with regard to your nuclear program and particularly with respect to the removal of the cruel sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which is leading the Axis of Resistance.

It emphasized that the Zionist regime is a weak country in decline and that Resistance is the best solution for gaining Palestine’s freedom.
Your beautiful speech appealed to the hearts of all those who heard it, because it had been written with words of light. This is particularly true about the part where you stated that the Zionist enemy is weaker than any time previously and that the army that claimed to be undefeatable, today and after its experiences in Lebanon and Gaza, has changed into an army (that is weak and) that will not taste victory.

Statement issued by the Coalition of Palestinian Forces about the speech delivered by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran on the anniversary of Quds Day
Sayyid Ali Khamenei’s (may God preserve his presence) speech addressed to the Islamic nation on the anniversary of Quds Day was an important, outstanding speech. In this speech, he spoke of the conspiracies against the Islamic world that target Palestine. He emphasized that Palestine’s goal was still the most important common issue for the Islamic nation.
He also emphasized that today after the passage of a period of weakness and frailty in the Islamic body, the balance of power has now changed in its favor. Thanks to the increasing progress of the Resistance Forces in the most strategic Islamic regions, it is recovering its health and well-being. All of these will lead to the destruction of Israel in the end, and all attempts to protect this regime will be futile.
Therefore, Sayyid Ali Khamenei (may God preserve his presence) stated that the Zionist enemy is weaker than ever. Its army, which was believed to be undefeatable, has turned into an army that will never taste victory as may be seen in their experiences in war in Lebanon and Gaza. This shows that the Zionists’ attempts will be doomed to failure in any possible war against the Arabic Islamic nation in the future. The Leader of the Revolution emphasized that there are two important factors that will determine the future concerning Palestine’s continued Resistance. The first one is bringing the paths and policies of Jihad and martyrdom closer together. The second factor is global support of the Palestinian fighters by the governments and armed nations throughout the world. His sincere call should be accepted and responded to by the Arab and Islamic world. When addressing the Arab youth, he said, “In the past, the Palestinian youth used to defend themselves against the attacks of the Zionists by throwing stones. But today, they respond to the enemy’s attacks with precision missiles.” He emphasized that the Palestinian fighters must continue their rightful, morally correct fight against the occupying regime with full strength.

In this speech, you emphasized your strategic view on the importance of Quds and its centrality in the historical fight against the Zionist plans. You stated important points that should be carefully considered in order to gain a deeper understanding of our regional problems.
We emphasize to you and our brother nation of Iran that International Quds Day will remain the historical resonating call of Grand Ayatollah Khomeini. It also explained the positions adopted by eastern and western countries in the world towards Palestine’s goal and towards the imposition of the Zionist regime on the Islamic nation with the purpose of preventing the unity of Arabs and Islam from forming.

The content of this speech evoked the dreams and goals of our people who are fighting, and all free, honorable personages in the Islamic nation.
In that speech, the fighting and endeavors of the people of Palestine for the sake of liberating Holy Quds and all of Palestine were supported and approved of by you. In that speech, you sent a clear message to all the forces of Arrogance, evil and transgression in the world, that Quds will remain in the minds, hearts and souls of all the Mujahids in the Arab and Islamic world because of its spiritual, symbolic status.
