In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Dr. Rouhani, the honorable President of Iran,
With peace and greetings,
I would like to express my satisfaction because the resistance of the great people of Iran in the face of unjust sanctions, the endeavor of nuclear scientists in advancing this important industry and the untiring efforts of our negotiators, which forced the other sides- some of whom are notorious for their enmity towards the people of Iran- to retreat and to lift part of these bullying sanctions. I would like to thank you, the negotiating team, the honorable Minister and all officials involved.
At this moment, I would like to direct your attention to the following points:
First, care should be taken that the other side fulfils his commitments completely. The statements that some American politicians have made in the last two, three days are cause for deep suspicion.
Second, all government officials should be warned that the solution for the economic problems of the country lies in continuous and intelligent efforts in all areas in the direction of the economy of resistance, and that lifting sanctions alone is not enough for improving the economy of the country and the living conditions of the people.
Third, during promotional activities, attention should be paid that for what has been achieved in this deal, heavy tolls have been paid. Writings and statements that try to ignore this truth and pretend that we are indebted to the western side, are not behaving in a sincere manner towards the public opinion of the people.
Fourth, even this amount of achievement in the face of the arrogant and bullying front, has been made as a result of resistance and endurance. All of us should consider this a great lesson for all events and incidents in the Islamic Republic.
Fifth, I stress once more that the deceptions and breaches of promises by arrogant governments- in particular America- on this issue and other issues, should not be neglected.
I ask Allah the Exalted to bestow success on you and the other officials of the country.
