The heartbreaking incident of the devastating flood in Shiraz— which led to the death of a number of our dear people, made the families mournful during the new year vacations, left many others injured, and caused damages to the city— has stricken me with profound sadness and sorrow.
It is appropriate that you, while sending greetings on my behalf to the affected families and the injured, cooperate with government officials in order to soothe the people’s pains and compensate for the calamities and damages and help the people.
Moreover, you should advise everyone to act vigorously and quickly in performing their responsibilities.
