In a meeting with the family of Martyr Yeilaqi, on January 16, 2018, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution described the third generation of the Revolution as being “even more promising than the first generation” and offered some words of advice to the youth. The Supreme Leader’s words of advice to today’s youth: You should fill the void left by the martyrs. You are young. You are the third generation of the Revolution. The youth of the third generation are more promising than the first generation provided that they can preserve their faith. You should build yourselves up as much as you can.

1. Build yourselves up in intellectual and religious areas.

2. Pray the “Night Prayers” as much as you can.

3. Pray your Daily Prayers well and in an attentive manner.

4. Establish a close relationship with God.

5. Read the Qur’an.

These are things that can fill the void left by the loss of the martyrs. It is necessary to carry out these tasks.
