Commander Hajj Ali Khoshlafz, the honorable veteran of the Holy Defense, whose book of memoires entitled "When the moonlight was lost" was once praised by Ayatollah Khamenei, has reached martyrdom last night, due to injuries sustained during the Holy Defense Era. In the event, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution issued the following message:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficient, the Most Merciful:
The dear veteran, Ali Khoshlafz, has passed and linked the reward for decades of pain, from disability, to the high status of martyrdom on the path to Allah.
God's peace and mercy be upon this dear martyr, who was dubbed a living martyr before his final martyrdom; the passing of years, after the holy defense, offered him the great reward of patience. I express my regards upon his pure soul, and my condolences and congratulations to his family and comrades.
