Appointment of Mr. Ahmadian as Leader’s representative in Iran’s Supreme National Security Council

Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has appointed Mr. Ali Akbar Ahmadian to be his representative in the Supreme National Security Council in accordance with Article 176 of the Constitution. The text of this decree by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Considering the appointment of Mr. Ali Akbar Ahmadian as Chairman of the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, I appoint him to be the Leader’s representative in the Council in accordance with Article 176 of the Constitution.

I would like to thank and appreciate Mr. Ali Shamkhani's responsible, persistent presence and his efforts as the Leader’s representative during these years. I ask the Almighty God for everyone’s success.
