Concurrent with the 35th Fundraising Ceremony held by the Charity for Atonement to Release Financially Needy Prisoners, Imam Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, donated 1 billion tomans to this charity. This Fundraising Ceremony is held by the Charity for Atonement to Release Financially Needy Prisoners every year during the auspicious month of Ramadan with a number of officials and charitable donors attending the event in Tehran and various other cities of Iran.
