I extend my condolences to the honorable family of the hard striving clergyman, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Ali Akbar Muhtashami (may God’s mercy be upon him). His endeavors prior to the Revolution later led to his revolutionary services to the Islamic Republic, him shouldering important responsibilities, and him being ultimately disabled in a terrorist attack. All of these resulted in his valuable, honorable record that will be subject to divine favor and serve as provisions for him in the Hereafter, God willing. I ask God, the Almighty, for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased and patience and peace for the honorable survivors.
