On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has approved of a pardon or reduction in sentence for 2,187 people who had been convicted in Public Courts, Revolutionary Courts, by the Governmental Discretionary Punishments Organization or by the Judiciary Organization of the Armed Forces.
