During WWII, Iran was unable to stand up to a few British and non-British agents for even a few hours. After the Islamic Revolution, the US, USSR, France, UK, Germany, and others fought Iran for 8 years under the name of Saddam but were unable to do a single thing. Today, Iran has turned into a regional power.
