Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei the Leader of the Islamic Revolution issued a decree on April 16, 2008 appointing Sayyid Ahmad Miremadi as the Friday prayer leader of the city of Khorramabad and as his representative in Lorestan province. The full text of his decree is as follows:
In the Name of Allah,the Beneficient,the Merciful
Dear Hajj Sayyid Ahmad Miremadi,
On account of the fact that Hojatoleslam Hosseini Mianji has decided to leave for the holy city of Qom after his valuable services in Khorramabad, I hereby appoint you as the Friday prayer leader of Khorramabad and my representative in Lorestan province. Sincere faith, fortitude, valor and loyalty of the people of that city and that province has been among the qualities most characteristic of those brave people in various eras before and after the Islamic Revolution. Being imbued with the valuable features of knowledge and practice and belonging to the immaculate lineage of our Imams, Your Eminence will, by Allah's favor and Imam Mahdi's - may our souls be sacrificed for his sake - special attention, manage to be an insightful and devoted guide, an honest and trustworthy counselor and an experienced and knowledgeable teacher.
I pray to Allah the Exalted to bestow divine approval on you and prosperity on the people of Lorestan.
