In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, Whom we praise, from Whom we seek help, to Whom we repent, and Whom we rely on, and peace and greetings be upon His beloved and noble one, the best among His servants, the protector of His secret, the promoter of His message, the harbinger of His blessings, the warner of His chastisement, our Master and Prophet, Ab-al-Qassem al-Mustafa Muhammad, upon his immaculate, pure and chosen household, and upon those who guide the guided, especially the one remaining with Allah on earth.
And greetings be upon the leaders of Muslims, those who support the oppressed and those who guide the faithful.
I invite and advise all dear brothers and myself to observe divine piety. If we wish God to help us, this lies in piety. If we want divine blessings and divine guidance, it lies in piety. If we want our personal and social matters to be resolved, it lies in piety. All of us should try to set divine piety as the basis of our work. What is important in Friday prayers is offering words of advice about piety. This humble person himself needs this advice more than all of you. I hope that Allah the Exalted will help us observe divine piety, each within the scope of our power.
There is a very significant and meaningful ayah – just like the rest of Quranic ayahs – in Sura Ibrahim. Today, my discussion revolves around this and the subsequent ayahs. The Holy Quran says, “We sent Moses with Our signs: ‘Bring out your people from the depths of darkness into light, and teach them to remember the days of Allah’” [The Holy Quran, 14: 5]. God orders Hazrat Musa to “teach them to remember the days of Allah”.
There are two possibilities about this part of the ayah which does not make a difference to our purpose. One possibility is to define it this way, “remind them of the days of God”. And another possibility is to define it as, “remind them of God, religion and Judgment Day through the days of God”. The significance of the days of God lies in the fact that Moses, who is a prophet of great status, is on the mission to remind people of the days of God. After that, it says, “verily in this there are signs for such as are firmly patient and grateful” [The Holy Quran, 14: 5]. The days of God are signs and guidelines. For whom? For those who have these two qualities: “firmly patient and grateful”.
The Arabic word “sabbar” means those who are resistant and patient from head to toe. They are men of patience and resistance and “shakur” means those who appreciate the value of divine blessings and who thank God for them. Later on, I will expand on such gratefulness.
In the next ayah, God says that Hazrat Musa acted on that command: “Call to mind the favors of Allah to you when He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh” [The Holy Quran, 14: 6]. He reminded them of their liberation from the hands of the Pharaoh and his troops – from an excessively oppressive power. This is one of the days of God. It is one of the manifestations of the days of God: “When He delivered you from the people of Pharaoh”. So, this is one of the days of God. A day when societies, humans and peoples are liberated from oppressive powers is a day of God. This is followed by the general call of God and by His loud voice: “Your Lord declared publicly” [The Holy Quran, 14: 7]. God says in a loud voice, “if you are grateful, I will add more favors unto you” [The Holy Quran, 14: 7]. If you thank God, He will increase His blessings on you on a daily basis. “But if you show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed” [The Holy Quran, 14:7]. However, if you show ingratitude and do not carry out the obligations related to thanking God, then divine punishment will be severe and there will be many problems for you.
In the subsequent ayah, God mentions the overall outcome from this, “And Moses said: ‘If you show ingratitude, you and all on earth together, yet is Allah free of all wants, worthy of all praise’” [The Holy Quran, 14:8]. When God says that people should be grateful to Him and that they should appreciate divine blessings and that they should not forget them, this is for the sake of people themselves, otherwise Allah the Exalted is free of any needs.
Well, the days of God are important and therefore, I wish to speak about this issue. For whom? For the people who are very patient and grateful. “Sabbar” means people who are enormously resistant and patient and who do not abandon the arena with the slightest problems because they resist and are grateful. First of all, they identify blessings and they see the overt and covert dimensions and secondly, they are grateful. In other words, they appreciate the value, the weight and the price of blessings. Thirdly, they feel responsible towards them. On the basis of the blessings that God has given them, they feel responsible. They are a nation and a group of people who are not impatient and ungrateful.
These ayahs are from Sura Ibrahim. They were sent down in Makkah during a time when Muslims were in the heat of battle, resistance and steadfastness against the orientation of kufr. The ayahs let people know that Allah the Exalted has certain “Days of God” and that He will bestow them on believers. Therefore, you should be grateful for the Days of God. If you have a proper and appreciative response to what Allah the Exalted has given you, He will give you more victories in the future. The points that exist in this holy ayah are the pivot of my discussion in the first sermon.
These two weeks that we went through were two eventful and exceptional weeks. We went through bitter and sweet incidents. There were instructive incidents for the Iranian nation in the past two weeks. What does the “Days of God” mean? It means days during which one can see the hand of divine power during incidents. The day when tens of millions of Iranians and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and people from other countries poured onto the streets to commemorate the blood of the Commander of the Quds Forces and when they organized the greatest farewell ceremony in the world- was one of the days of God. What happened could not be done by any element other than that of divine power.
The day when the missiles of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps demolished the American base was another day of God as well [Audience chant, “Allahu Akbar”]. We Iranian nation were witness to these two days of God in front of our eyes, just in the course of the past few days – in the past two weeks. These are turning points in history. These days build history and they are not ordinary days. That a certain force and a certain nation has the power and the psychological capability to slap the face of an arrogant and bullying power in the world in such a way, shows that the hand of God is involved. So that day, was a day of God. Days come to an end, but their outcomes and effects prevail in the life of nations. The effects that such days bring about in the morale, outlook and path of nations will be permanent and – in the case of some of them – eternal.
Well in our opinion, Iranian society is a very patient and grateful society. Our nation is a fully resistant and grateful nation. In the course of all these years, the Iranian nation has always been grateful to divine blessings. Therefore, we patient and grateful nation should learn a lesson from these ayahs. I said that the first issue is that we should identify the worldly and otherworldly aspects of this phenomenon. I want to ask: after the passage of 41 years from the victory of the Islamic Revolution, which hand of power brought that unprecedented population onto the streets? Who caused the people to weep and to show their love and enthusiasm? Which element other than the hand of divine power could display such a miracle?
Those who fail to see the hand of divine power in such events and who make worldly analyses fall behind. One should see the hand of divine power. The spiritual and very important aspect of the event is that it is Allah the Exalted who does these things. When Allah the Exalted makes the people launch such a movement, one should feel that divine will wishes the Iranian nation to win.
This shows that divine power ordains that the Iranian nation move and win on this path and on this line. It displays the spirituality and the nature of the Iranian nation. Such is the love, the loyalty and the resistance of the Iranian nation. With their presence in the arena, the people pledged their allegiance to the path of Imam. After the passage of 30 years from the demise of our magnanimous Imam, they showed their great allegiance. They pledged their allegiance to the path of Imam in such a magnificent manner. This is why Imam is alive. A few days before and after that incident [the martyrdom of Sardar Qassem Soleimani], the news empire of Zionism did its best everywhere in the world to accuse our great and dear Sardar of terrorism. The US President himself, his Secretary of State and news apparatuses throughout the world, talked incessantly about “terrorism”. After the enormous efforts of this news empire, what happened that caused Allah the Exalted to direct the scene in the exact opposite direction of what they wished?
The people sent their greetings to the soul of that grand martyr not only in Iran, but also in many countries and they set the American and the Zionist flag on fire. Thus, can one not clearly see the hand of divine power? Is it not a manifestation of this ayah – “Have no fear for Allah is with us” [The Holy Quran, 9: 40] – which the Holy Prophet said to his companion in the cave of al-Thur while they were isolated and unprotected? Bani Israel, who were terrified, said to Hazrat Musa, “We are sure to be overtaken” [The Holy Quran, 26: 61]. They were afraid of Pharaoh, saying to themselves, “Surely will Pharaoh’s forces lay siege to us shortly and they will completely annihilate us!”. However, Hazrat Musa said, “By no means! my Lord is with me. Soon will He guide me!” [The Holy Quran, 26: 62].
So, can we not see “My Lord is with me” in our own affairs? Can the Iranian nation not feel, “My Lord is with me” so tangibly? God has activated his hand of power in our country, in our society and among our nation. This great martyrdom and the fact that it was related to Shia Islam is one of the signs of divine power.
It was the infamy of the US government - the totally reprehensible US government - that brought about this scandal. They assassinated someone who was the strongest and most reputable commander in fighting against terrorism. Shahid Soleimani was the strongest commander, in the true sense of the word, in fighting against terrorism in the region and he is well-known exactly for that. Which other commander could do what he did in the region? Shahid Soleimani entered a region by helicopter while the region was completely besieged by the enemy. The region had been completely, 360 degrees, besieged by the enemy. There were good youth there who were alone, without a commander, but as soon as they cast eyes on Hajj Qassem Soleimani, they were resuscitated, their morale was boosted and they became motivated to put an end to the siege and to chase off the enemy. Who could do those things?
They assassinated the anti-terrorist commander – the strongest and most recognized one in the whole region. They did not face him out in the field. Instead, the US government assassinated him in a cowardly and surreptitious manner. And they themselves acknowledged this. This turned out to be a source of disgrace for the US. Before that incident, such assassination attempts used to be particular to the Zionist regime in the region. They would assassinate individuals. They assassinated the leader of Hamas and they acknowledged it. They assassinated the leader of Islamic Jihad and they acknowledged it. They said that it was their doing. They would assassinate and they would confess to it. The Americans, of course, had killed many people before that incident. They killed and assassinated as many individuals as they could in Iraq, in Afghanistan and in other countries, but they would not acknowledge it. However, in the case of our martyr, they confessed to it. The US President confessed to it with his own words. Allah the Exalted smacks individuals on the neck so that they confess. Thus, the Americans admitted that it was their doing. They said that it was they who assassinated him. What scandal is graver than this?
The powerful response by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps is noteworthy as well. The day of God when our dear and great martyr was buried is one side of the issue and the powerful response made by the Guards Corps is another side of the issue. The latter is noteworthy as well. That was a blow to the US. It was of course, a military blow – an efficient military blow – but above that, they received a blow in terms of their reputation. It was a blow to the superpower grandeur of the US [Audience chants, “Allahu Akbar”].
It is many years now that US has been receiving blows in Syria, in Iraq, in Lebanon and in Afghanistan. They have been receiving a blow from the powerful hand of the Resistance for long time, but the latest blow was the most severe one because it was a blow to their reputation and to their grandeur. This blow cannot be made up for with anything. In the present time, they have announced that they have intensified the sanctions, but this cannot recover the lost reputation of the US. Our powerful response had such an impact and quality. This is another manifestation of divine assistance which is a response to sincere diligence.
My dear ones, pious brothers and sisters, purity is a blessed act. Whenever purity exists, Allah the Exalted blesses it and He blesses His pure servants. Then our affairs become blessed, they grow and everyone will benefit from them. The results will prevail among the people. This originates from purity. The results of purity are the people’s love and loyalty, their tears and sighs, their presence and the revival of revolutionary spirit among the people. However, if we wish to put these events in history, to value and to appreciate them and if we would like to see how precious they are, this happens only when we refuse to look at Hajj Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi – our dear martyrs – merely as two individuals, but rather we should look at them as a school of thought. We should view our dear Shahid Sardar as a school of thought, as a guideline and as an instructive lesson. Only then will the significance of the issue become clear.
We should not merely look at the Quds Force as a bureaucratic organization, rather we should look at it as a human organization with great and clear human motivations. If this happens, then the people’s gatherings and commemoration ceremonies become significant in another way. Of course, the intellectual structure of all of our Armed Forces – including the Army, the Guards Corps and Basij – is based on divine goals, undoubtedly. Today, this is the main issue in our country. The intellectual structure of the whole of our Armed Forces is lofty and divine goals. The Quds Force is a force that looks at everyone in every place with broad-mindedness. They are warriors who have no borders: they are borderless warriors. They are warriors who show their presence wherever needed. They preserve the dignity of the underprivileged. They sacrifice themselves for holy beliefs and holy principles. We should look at the Quds Force like this. These very individuals – who rush to the help of other nations and the weak in the region and who do so with their lives and all their power – help our own country escape from the specter of war, terror and sabotage as well.
An important part of the security of our dear homeland is the result of the work done by the pious youth who worked and endeavored hard under the command of our dear Martyr Sardar. It is they who have brought us security. They have brought security to the country. Yes, it is true that they rush to the help of Palestine, Gaza and other regions which need their presence, but they also ensure the security of our own country. The enemy who has been equipped by the US has been equipped not for the sake of occupying Iraq and Syria, but for the sake of occupying Iran because our dear Iran is their ultimate goal. They created DAESH not merely for the sake of dominating Iraq - their ultimate goal was Iran. This way, they planned to jeopardize our security, our borders and our cities and to create an unsafe environment for our families. However, their efforts were aborted thanks to the pious and dear youth who went there and made that great endeavor.
Those naïve individuals who one day shouted, “Neither Gaza nor Lebanon” did not sacrifice their lives for Iran, nor were they even prepared to abandon their comfort and interests in the way of the country. Those who sacrificed their lives for Iran, once again, were the likes of Shahid Soleimani. It was they who risked their lives at a time when the country needed to be defended and who rushed to the battlefield in order to defend the country and Iran. It is they who can claim to be defending the security of the country and of the nation. It was because of sacrifice and purity, which has prevailed at all stages. Well, it is with this outlook that we can unearth the truth of the Iranian nation and of their spirituality and nature. It is this way that we can unearth the nature of and the truth about those who poured onto the streets and the millions of individuals who marched under the coffins of those dear ones in Tehran, in Qom, in Kerman, in Khuzestan and other cities and also of those who witnessed the events at a distance and who wept for them. The latter are people who held, from a distance, a mourning ceremony in different cities. As a matter of fact, millions of our people participated in that great test.
The people resemble one another in this sense no matter which party they support and which group of people and ethnicity they represent. They are advocates of the Revolution, of the authority of Islam, of resistance in the face of oppression. They advocate saying no to all the greedy desires of arrogant and colonialist governments.
The Iranian nation showed that it defends the path of courageous jihad. The Iranian nation showed that it loves the symbols of resistance. It showed that it is the advocate of resistance, not of surrender. Those who try to portray another image of our great nation to the people, to foreigners and to public opinion inside the country are not adopting a sincere and honest outlook towards the people. The nation is this. The nation is an advocate of steadfastness and of resistance. It is an advocate of resistance in the face of the bullying of the enemies. The American clowns who say with complete untruthfulness and brazenness that they are on the side of the Iranian nation, should see who the people of Iran are. Do those few hundreds who insult the photograph of our dear glorious Shahid Sardar represent the people of Iran or those millions of people who show their presence on the streets? [Audience chants “Allahu Akbar”].
The spokespeople of the malicious US government keep repeating that they are on the side of the Iranian nation. You are lying! Even if you were on the side of the Iranian nation, that would be for the sake of sticking your poisonous dagger into the chest of the Iranian nation! Of course, you have failed to do so until today and from now on too, you will not be able to do a damn thing! [Audience chant, “Allahu Akbar, Khamenei is our leader, death to America, death to England, death to the munafeqeen and kufar and death to Israel”].
The people of Iran showed who they really are on this matter. They showed what their ideological structure is based on. They displayed their sincere feelings. The cry of revenge that the people let out throughout the country was in fact the real fuel for the missiles that turned the American base upside down! [Audience chants, “Allahu Akbar”].
Another point that we should pay attention to regarding the significance of this day of God is that Allah the Exalted orders Hazrat Musa to “teach them to remember the days of Allah”. This means that the people should keep the days of God in mind. Some people try to consign these sensitive days of God to oblivion by highlighting other matters so that they could possibly overshadow this great day of God. One of the issues that they highlight is the unfortunate incident related to the plane crash. Well, that incident was a bitter one and it really filled our hearts with sorrow. Losing our dear youth, our good people and those who were here from other countries was a very bitter incident. There is no doubt about this, but some people, following what American and English television and radio stations did and under their guidance, tried to portray the matter in a way that the Day of God related to the great martyrdom of those two dear martyrs would be consigned to oblivion.
They did something to, as they foolishly thought, to pass it to oblivion. They are individuals in whom we see no inclination, whatsoever, towards the national interests of the country. One is really shocked at this. Some of them are young and emotional and they are duped, but some of them are not young. One sees that they are not willing in any way to understand national interests and to stand by them. They utter words which the enemy wants to hear and they do things which the enemy likes. I wish to say that our enemy became as happy as we became sad and sorrowful at the incident related to the plane crash. Our enemy rejoiced over it, thinking that it has gained an excuse to question the Guards Corps, our Armed Forces and the Islamic Republic. They want to do that so that they could hypothetically overshadow that great incident, but they were proved wrong: “And the unbelievers planned, and Allah too planned, and Allah is the best of planners!” [The Holy Quran, 3: 54].
They hatched plots, but they did not know that their plot was of no avail in the face of God’s hand of power. The day of God related to the burial ceremony of our martyr and the day of God related to slamming the American base will not be wiped out from the minds of the people and it will gather momentum on a daily basis, God willing.
I deem it necessary to once more express my sympathy to the families of the deceased. We share their grief and we thank them. I thank those parents and family members who stood up to the plot and to the temptation of the enemy despite the fact that they were grief-stricken and who adopted a position contrary to what the enemies wished. The mother of one of the dear ones who was on the plane wrote a letter to me saying that they would stand by the Islamic Republic and by our motives. These words require courage, understanding and insight and we are really humbled and we show respect to such personalities with all our hearts and souls.
I should add that another measure that they adopted in order to overshadow those great events was what these three vicious European governments did: the vicious English government and the French and German governments. They threatened Iran that they would take the nuclear matter to the United Nations Security Council again. Of course, the officials of the country responded in a firm manner. They received a firm response.
These are the three countries which helped Saddam as much as they could in the war that was imposed on us. The German government provided Saddam with chemical weapons so that he would target our cities and our frontlines. The effects of those chemical weapons still exist among our veterans. The French government gave him “Super Etandard” helicopters in order to target our oil tankers. This is their record. As for the English government, it served the goals of our enemies with all its power. It served the interests of Saddam as well. They are like this. This is their history and they are acting in the same way today. We should adopt such an outlook towards them.
I used to say this from the beginning. After the US left the Bar-Jaam [JCPOA], those three governments would rant and rave all the time. On that day, I said that I did not trust them and that they would not do anything because they serve American interests. Today, this has become completely clear. After the passage of one year, it has become clear that they are America’s footboys in the true sense of the word. They are America’s footboys. That is while those little governments hope that they can bring the Iranian nation to its knees. The US who was greater than you and began these measures before you and who is your master failed to bring the Iranian nation to its knees. You are too small to bring the Iranian nation to its knees! [Audience chants, “Allahu Akbar”].
Even when they want to negotiate, their negotiations are mixed with deception and trickery. Those who appear at the negotiating table, those “gentlemen” who sit at the negotiating table are the same terrorists of the Baghdad airport! They are the same people and they are no different. They only appear in disguise. It is the iron fiststhat takes off its velvet coverand glove and reveals its true self. Otherwise, their nature is the same and it is no different. They cannot be people whom we can trust.
So what should we do now that the Iranian nation has appreciated the value of this incident? I want to say it in a word: the dear Iranian nation should become strong! [Audience chants, “Allahu Akbar”] .The only way ahead for the Iranian nation is to become strong. We should try to be strong. We are not afraid of negotiating. Of course, we will not negotiate with the US, rather we will negotiate with others. And we will not negotiate from a position of weakness, rather, from a position of strength and power. We are thankfully strong and we will even become stronger by Allah’s favor.
Of course, power is not confined to military power. Power is not only that. It is the economy of the country that should become strong. Our dependence on oil should come to an end. We should be liberated from the dependence of our economy on oil. Scientific and technological leaps should continue. And all these rest on the presence of our dear people on the scene. The Iranian nation and the officials of the country should focus their efforts on strengthening the country and the nation and this should be achieved with unity, presence on the scene, patience, resistance and hard work and by avoiding laziness. If this happens, by Allah’s favor and grace, the Iranian nation will reach a point in the near future where the enemies will not even dare issue threats!

Except those who believe and do good, and enjoin on each other truth, and enjoin on each other patience” [The Holy Quran, 103].
Second Sermon
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and greetings be upon our Master and Prophet, Muhammad, and upon his immaculate household, especially upon the Commander of the Faithful, his beloved Zahra al-Marziah, Hassan, Hussain – the Master of the Youth of Paradise - Ali ibn al-Hussain Zayn al-Abidin, Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir, Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq, Musa ibn Ja'far al-Kadhim, Ali ibn Musa ar-Ridha, Muhammad ibn Ali al-Jawad, Ali ibn Muhammad al-Hadi, Hassan ibn Ali al-Zakki al-Askari, and Hujjat al-Qaem al-Mahdi. Greetings be upon them all.
I advise you servants of God to fear God.
Once more, I would like to advise you brothers and sisters to observe divine piety in words, in action, in conduct, in social relations and in different interactions. We should take account of divine piety in all these things and we should think of gaining divine satisfaction. I wish to raise two, three points and after that, I will address certain issues to our Arab brothers. One of those two points is about the airplane crash: once more, I wish to express my condolences and my sympathy. There are some ambiguities in this incident. I thank the Commanders of the Guards Corps who provided explanations for the people, but the issue should be followed up and similar incidents should be seriously prevented. What is important is to follow up the matter, but what is even more important is preventing such incidents from occurring again.
The second matter is about the elections. In the near future, I will speak more about elections, but what I want to say today is: dear brothers, dear sisters, dear people of Iran, the presence of the Iranian nation is the most important element of power and this presence manifests itself in different areas one of the most important of which is the elections. The presence of the people in elections insures the country and disappoints the enemy. The enemies are doing their best with all sorts of tricks to prevent the people from participating in elections. Of course, there are various matters and recommendations about elections and in the future, I will discuss them if I live long enough, God willing. What I wanted to discuss today is about the essence of the matter. You should take care not to let the enemy fulfil his dream which is to undermine elections.
Arabic Sermon:
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, and peace and greetings be upon Muhammad,
upon his pure Household and upon his chosen companions. At this sensitive juncture in the history of the region, I wish to mention some brief points to you Arab brothers. In recent days, a great and brave Iranian Commander and a self-sacrificing, sincere Iraqi fighter on the path of God were martyred by the mercenary American soldiers, at the command of the terrorist US President.
That crime was not committed in a confrontation on the battlefield, rather it was committed in a completely cowardly and vile manner. Commander Soleimani was a person who used to show his presence in the frontlines and in the most dangerous areas with exemplary courage. He used to fight bravely and was one of the most effectual personalities in defeating the Daesh terrorists and other similar factions in Syria and Iraq. Without daring to confront him on the battlefield, the Americans attacked him with a drone while he was in the Baghdad Airport at the invitation of the Iraqi government.
They spilled his pure blood and the blood of his companions on the ground. So once again, the blood of Iranian and Iraqi children have been mixed together on the path of God. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps responded duly and struck the American base with its missiles annihilating the reputation of that oppressive, arrogant government. However, their main punishment, which is their expulsion from the region, has yet to come.
The Iranian nation said their farewells to those great Mujahids in gatherings which numbered tens of millions of people in different cities in an unprecedented way. The Iraqi nation accompanied their bodies in several cities in a very respectful manner. In several other countries too, the people showed their sympathy through passionate gatherings. There were many vicious efforts to make the Iranian and Iraqi nations suspicious of one another. They spent massive amounts on this, and they hired irresponsible individuals in Iran to work against the Iraqi nation, and the Iraqi people were witnessing massive, satanic propaganda against the Iranian nation. However, that great martyrdom put an end to all those satanic attempts and devilish temptations.
What I wish to say is that Islamic strength – yours and ours – can overcome the superficial grandeur of material and corrupt powers. Western powers managed to dominate regional countries by relying on science, technology, military weapons, false propaganda and deceitful policies. Whenever they were forced to leave a country in the face of a popular movement, they kept hatching plots, infiltrating and trying to achieve political and economic domination as much as they could. Moreover, they planted the malignant tumour of the Zionist regime in the heart of the West Asian countries, thus creating a constant threat for regional countries. After the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, severe political and military blows were dealt to that usurping regime.
After that, a chain of defeats for the Arrogant Powers– headed by the US – took place from Iraq, Syria, and through Gaza, Lebanon, towards Yemen and Afghanistan. The enemy’s media accuse Iran of proxy wars. This is a big lie. Regional nations have awakened. Iran’s capability in long-term resistance against America’s malevolent actions has exerted its impact on the environment of the region and on the morale of other nation.
The fate of the region depends on its liberation from U.S. arrogant domination and the freedom of Palestine from being dominated by Zionist foreigners, InshaAllah. All nations are responsible to help achieve this goal. The world of Islam must erase elements of discord. The unity of Islamic scholars can present Islamic solutions for a new Islamic lifestyle. Cooperation between our universities can improve science and technology, and this cooperation will create the infrastructure for the new civilization. Coordination between our media will correct the culture of the people down to its roots. Communication between our armed forces will move war and transgression away from the entire region. Dealings between our markets will lift our economies out from under the domination of plundering companies. Our people’s travels to one another’s countries will bring us solidarity, affection, unity and friendship. The enemies – yours and ours – want to insure their economy with our resources, their dignity with the humiliation of our nations and their being ahead with our discord. They want to destroy us with our own hands.
The US wants Palestine to be defenseless in facing the cruel, criminal Zionists. They want Syria and Lebanon to be occupied by mercenary governments, which are dependent on the US. And, they want to have Iraq and its oil wealth for themselves. In order to achieve these sinister goals, they don’t avoid committing the gravest acts of oppression and villainy.
The difficult test that Syria went through for many years, consecutive seditions in Lebanon, and constant provocations and acts of sabotage in Iraq are examples of their actions. The overt assassinations of Martyr Abu Mahdi – the courageous Commander of Hash al-Sha’abi –and Martyr Soleimani, the great Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, are unprecedented instances of this sedition in Iraq. They wish to achieve their evil goal in Iraq by creating seditions, civil war and ultimately disintegrating Iraq and removing pious, revolutionary, Mujahid and patriotic forces. An example of their brazenness is that after the Iraqi parliament ordered that they be expelled, they – who had pretended to be supporting democracy – put formalities aside and said that they had come to stay and that they would not leave.
The world of Islam should open a new page. Awakened consciences and pious hearts must revive the self-confidence of nations. Everyone should know that the only way to save nations is a strategy, resistance and fearlessness in facing the enemy. May God bestow His mercy and assistance on the Muslim nations. Verily the Exalted Allah hears and answers.
