Ayatollah Khamenei, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Armed Forces, appointed Brigadier General Mohammad-Hussain Dadras as the successor to the Army’s Commander-in-Chief; also, the Navy commander, Habibollah Sayyari, was appointed as Coordinating Deputy of the Army; and, Navy Commander, Hussain Khanzadi, as Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Navy, in separate edicts.
The following is the full text of the edicts:
In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Brigadier General Mohammad-Hussain Dadras,
At the suggestion of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Commander, considering your commitment and valuable experiences, I appoint you as Successor to the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army.
Appropriate efforts towards improving intelligence and operational preparations of the AJA (Islamic Republic of Iran Armed Forces), and meeting the major human-related needs of the staff--in line with the decisions of the Commander-in-Chief--are expected.
I thank and I appreciate the value of the efficient efforts made by Brigadier General Pourdastan during the time he held this responsibility.

Appropriate efforts towards improving the dynamism and efficiency of the Army staff, in response to pivotal and prioritized needs, and promoting coordination, consistency, and synergy in the Army are expected.
I thank and I appreciate the value of the efficient efforts made by Brigadier General Mohammad-Hussain Dadras during the time he held this responsibility.

Now, that due to Divine favor and efforts of the commanders, managers, and all staff, effective steps have been taken in advancing this key force(Navy). It is expected that, with great determination, great efforts, and constructive interactions, all the capacities and capabilities of the Navy, AJA, Armed Forces, and the country will be utilized, and the current process is accelerated.
