The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, visiting the family of the martyred Mohsen Hojaji, said, "He honored himself and our nation through his sincere Jihad (endeavor for the sake of God) and Martyrdom."
Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, met with the family of the martyred Mohsen Hojaji today (Tuesday) and called the honourable martyr a sign of God and a spokesman for martyrs. He pointed to the glorious, massive presence of the people in the martyr's funeral, remarking, "God blessed the people of Iran through diligence of our dear Mohsen, and made him the symbol of the young revolutionary generation and the continuous miracle of the Islamic Revolution."
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution added: "All the young men who were martyred--from Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, and other regions--in the fight against the Takfiri groups, puppets of the United States and Britain, are reflected in this young man, and God has made him an emblem of sincere and courageous martyrdom."
He believed that the massive presence of the grateful people in the funerals of Martyr Hojaji in the cities of Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan and Najafabad was extremely meaningful adding, "God made hearts fascinated and various people, some of them with an appearance unrelated to jihad and martyrdom, carried the picture of the young martyr and came to his funeral."
Referring to the many efforts of the enemies to make the nation, especially the youth to turn away from jihad and martyrdom, forget about Imam Khomeini and to lose track of the bright path of the revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei added: "Under these circumstances, the fascinated hearts, belonging to a large part of the youth, towards revolutionary concepts are amazing, and if the quantity and quality of the revolutionary youth is not more than those in the 80s, it is no less."
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution added: God has proven this fact to everyone through martyr Hojaji by making him well-known and popular, and by making him symbolic; God showed that today’s young generation is so sincere and honest in their struggles in the way of Allah. This is a divine sign and the continuing miracle of the revolution.
He considered the martyr's family, the authorities, and all the people of Iran indebted to the diligence of martyr Hojaji and those like him, and he praised the outstanding role of the martyr's father, mother, and wife by stating: "Although the loss of the martyr is a great disaster for his family, the glory God blessed upon the country through him will give them peace and patience."
Ayatollah Khamenei made the following statement on the enduring photo of martyr Hojaji at his moment of captivity:
"Peace be upon this proud martyr, who in the most sensitive and most crucial moments of his life, symbolized the victorious and obvious truth against the declining falsehood. God bless him, who glorified himself and his whole nation by his sincere jihad and brave martyrdom.” October 3, 2017
