The following is the full text of the message delivered on October 28, 2016 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, on the demise of Ayatollah Tabatabai Qomi.
In the Name of Him, the Exalted
I would like to express my condolences to the honorable family of Ayatollah Hajj Aqa Taqi Tabatabai- the courageous son of the late Grand Ayatollah Hajj Aqa Hussein Tabatabai Qomi- and to all those who respected that holy household and to the great personalities of Qom, Najaf and Mashhad seminaries.
I ask Allah the Exalted to raise the position of that late personality and to associate him with his pure ancestors. May Allah forgive him and us.
