The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei ended his four-day visit to the holy city of Mashhad and returned to the capital Tehran on Friday, May 18.
During his visit to the provincial capital of Khorasan Province, the Leader met with the members of staff and a large group of students of Ferdowsi University on Tuesday. He also received a large number of ulama and scholars and congregational prayer leaders as well as the instructors and theology students of the Islamic seminaries in the holy city of Mashhad on Wednesday.
Ayatollah Khamenei also met with the esteemed families of the honorable martyrs and former prisoners of war and war-disabled veterans of the Iraqi imposed war on Thursday.
