Ayatollah Amoli Larijani, head of the judiciary branch, Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani, head of the Expediency Council, Ayatollah Jannati, chairman of the Guardian Council and Hujjat ul-Islam Sayyid Hassan Khomeini visited Ayatollah Khamenei in hospital this afternoon, following the Leader's operation this morning. They expressed their satisfaction with the Leader's condition and prayed for his health and length of life.
Dr. Marandi, head of the Leader's medical team, has expressed his satisfaction with the results of the operation conducted this morning. He said that the procedure was conducted early in the morning and lasted less than 30 minutes with local anesthesia and without the need for general anesthesia and without any complications.
Also, President Rouhani visited the Leader in hospital this morning. Expressing his satisfaction with the performance of the medical team and the Leader's health, he said: "All people should pray for His Eminence's health, length of life and increased opportunities in service of the people of Iran and the world of Islam."
