The letter stated, “Now that, under your powerful and wise leadership, and following a period of dignified restraint, the heart of the occupied territories was targeted on the evening of October 1 by the strong hands of the valiant commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, fueled by the collective anger of the Islamic Ummah and divine soldiers, the grieving hearts of the families of the martyrs, the helpless people of Palestine, and all the freedom-seekers of the world have found solace once again. This has given the steadfast fighters of the Holy Quds a renewed vigor and tireless determination to confront the accursed Zionist regime until the end of its disgraceful life as an illegitimate offspring of Global Arrogance.
We, a group of Friday Prayer leaders and preachers of Sunni Islam from across the country, as servants of the Quran and Islamic teachings and followers of the path of unity and the jihad of clarification, express our deep appreciation for your enlightening statements and your powerful sermons delivered during the recent Friday Prayers in Tehran. We reaffirm our covenant to the ideals of the late Imam Khomeini (ra) and the esteemed martyrs, as well as our allegiance to that great leader.
We would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the victorious execution of Operation True Promise II, undertaken by the heroic IRGC and the glorious Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran against the usurping and child-killing [Zionist] regime. We convey this message of appreciation to our wise Leader, as well as to the commanders and mujahideen who fight on the path of God.”
