The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, has offered his condolences and congratulations in a message on the martyrdom of the brave, intelligent IRGC Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan (ra) who was martyred in the malicious Zionist regime’s attacks on Beirut’s Dahieh neighborhood on Sept. 27, 2024. The full text of the Leader’s message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The brave, intelligent Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan (may God’s mercy be upon him) has joined God following the malicious Zionist regime’s attacks on Beirut’s Dahieh neighborhood. May divine mercy and the greetings of God and those closest to Him be upon this Mujahid on the path of God.

Martyrdom on the path of God for General Nilforoushan, who had dedicated his life to jihad to raise the banner of Islam, is a great blessing.

I offer my congratulations and condolences to the honorable family and esteemed colleagues of this dear martyr, and I pray for God's grace to be bestowed upon all of them.
