Message of condolence to Ayatollah Hossein Wahid Khorasani

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, has issued a message of condolence to one of the great Shia maraja (Religious Authorities), Ayatollah Hossein Wahid Khorasani, on the passing of his wife. The text of the Leader’s message is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Dear Ayatollah Haj Sheikh Hossein Wahid Khorasani

May [God’s] blessings be upon you.

On the passing of your honorable wife, I offer my condolences to you, to the family, and to the other relatives of the deceased. I pray for God to bestow His mercy and forgiveness upon her.
