Imam Khamenei appointed new head of the Institute of the Islamic Fiqh Encyclopedia based on Ahlulbait Denomination

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution—Ayatollah Khamenei—issued a decree wherein His Eminence appointed Hujjatul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Hajj Sheikh Hassan Nazari to the position of the Head of the Institute of Islamic Fiqh Encyclopedia based on Ahlulbait’s Denomination. The following is the full text of the decree:

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful,

Your Excellency, Hujjatul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Hajj Sheikh Hassan Nazari (may his dignity persist),

The demise of the eminent head of the Institute of Islamic Fiqh Encyclopedia based on Ahlulbait’s Denomination, late Hujjatul-Islam Wal-Muslimin Ha’eri, was a heartrending loss that we hope will be compensated by God’s favour so that the great movement of knowledge will persist with its benefits and advantages.

Therefore, I hereby appoint Your Excellency, who—thanks be to God—enjoy the desired knowledge, as well as behavioural and managerial qualifications required to run as the head of this auspicious institute. It is expected that you make great endeavours to preserve the blessings of this prolific tree by cooperation with prominent scholars and researchers who have proved their merits in the institute. Moreover, you are expected to ensure the wellbeing and integrity of this scientific institute by observing order and regulations.

I ask Allah the Great to bestow success on you and your colleagues.

Sayyid Ali Khamenei
