Mecca 720

Ka’aba and Mecca belong to all Muslims, not Al-Saud

Then, when you go there[The land of Mecca], “Then stream out from where the people stream out…” [The Holy Quran, 2: 199]. The issue is about all people: “We have made for all people, the native and the visitor being equal therein…” [The Holy Quran, 22: 25]. There is no difference between the inhabitants of Mecca and those who live elsewhere. That place belongs to everyone. That land belongs to all Muslims. No one should think that the land belongs to them and that they have the right to behave in whichever way they want. This is not the case. All Muslims have the same rights towards the Holy Ka’bah, Masjid al-Haram, that holy place and the holy environment of the Two Holy Mosques. This ayah only mentions Makkah, but the same is true of Medina. Medina belongs to all Muslims as well. This is because the Holy Prophet belongs to everyone.

One point is that no one should create obstacles in the way of Hajj concepts and teachings: “As to those who have rejected Allah, and would keep back men from the way of Allah, and from the Sacred Mosque…” [The Holy Quran, 22: 25]. There are some people who “keep back men from the way of Allah” and “from the Sacred Mosque”. This keeping back does not only mean preventing you from going to Makkah. They might let you do that, but they might prevent you from benefiting from the concepts of Hajj. This is keeping back men from the way of Allah as well. This is keeping back men from the Sacred Mosque as well. Those who do so—the governments and states that make this grave mistake—is keeping people away from the way of Allah.Hajj concepts should be properly comprehended and acted upon. The conclusion is that Ka’bah belongs to everyone.
