Be vigilant about who your enemies are, with what spirit they are moving forward and with what malice they are standing against the Iranian nation. Of course, it is not only the Iranian nation that they are standing against. This is their nature.
Today, the issue of separating several thousand children from their mothers at the U.S. border is not a minor issue, rather it is a very grave issue. One cannot bear to see these children cry on television. How can they adopt such a wrong and criminal course of action just because of a certain policy and rule? How can they separate several thousand children from their mothers? That is what they are.
Yes, we thank the mister who has taken office recently. We thank him because he saved us the trouble of revealing the true nature of America. What we have been saying repeatedly in the past 30-plus years – about political corruption, economic corruption, moral corruption and social corruption in the ruling apparatus of America – was fully displayed and manifested by that mister as he revealed the naked truth about America during and after the elections. In the present time too, he is showing the truth about the U.S. with the things that he is doing. He is showing what American human rights means- they put handcuffs on a five-year-old kid- this is their human rights![...]
He branded the friends and the enemies. He knew who the people of Iran were and he identified the goals. The reason why Imam (r.a.) said over and over again that we should not trust Satan and the enemy and the reason why he said that we should beware of trusting the enemy was that he knew the enemy very well. Of course, we used to make these statements, but today they are on the screen and everyone is watching it. The behaviour of that man [Trump] reveals what the true nature of America is and of the comments that they make about human rights, philanthropy and other such matters. This is what we can obtain from this situation and from pondering upon Imam Khomeini’s (r.a.) statements.
Despite the fact that the U.S. is the cruellest and most merciless government in the world, it claims to be an advocate of human rights in its propaganda! And that it is an advocate of the rights of the oppressed, it is an advocate of animal rights! Well, they should be disgraced. The realities should be exposed. These things should be promoted at an international level. Notice what oppression they have committed against Palestine. In the present time, the Palestinians are subject to oppression and cruelty on a daily basis. It is seventy years now that this oppression has been continuing and the U.S. authorities have been behind it. In the present time, they are behind it as well. Well, this should be exposed.
