Imam Khamenei visited the holy shrine of Imam Khomeini and the Martyrs’ Graveyard in Behesht Zahra cemetery with the start of the Ten-Day Dawn Celebrations and on the eve of the 43rd anniversary of the auspicious victory of the Islamic Revolution. The Leader of the Islamic Revolution was present in the holy shrine of the great Imam Khomeini this morning (Monday, January 31, 2022) honoring the memory of the dear departed Imam by reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an and performing prayers there.
Imam Khamenei also visited the tombs of the eminent martyrs Ayatollah Beheshti, Rajaee, Bahonar, and the martyrs of the tragedy that occurred on the 7th of Tir. He asked God, the Almighty, to grant them the highest ranks in Heaven.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution then visited the Martyrs' Graveyard and sent his greetings to the pure souls of those who fought for the cause of God and defended Islam and Iran.
