Along with the 31st Golrizan Fundraising Ceremony, to help release financially underprivileged prisoners, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution--Ayatollah Khamenei-- donated four billion Iranian Rials to the charity.
Every year, during the auspicious month of Ramadan, the Golrizan Fundraising ceremony is held by the People’s Commissariat in charge of Diyeh [money for atonement] and needy prisoners, with officials and charity donors from Tehran, and various other cities of Iran, attending the event.
