Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, penned a message of condolence on the passing away of Mrs. Mahdiyeh Elahi Qomshei; she was an accomplished literary scholar and researcher. The following is the full text of the message:
I condole the respected family and survivors, as well as those, who are acquainted with the scholastic and spiritual achievements of the respected lady, Mrs. Mahdieh Elahi Qomshei, the esteemed daughter of the late prominent scholar, mystic (Arif), sage, poet and translator of the Holy Quran, Mr. Haj Sheikh Mahdi Elahi Qomshei. May God bless their souls; I ask God to elevate her ranks to the highest.
