Leader: We Should Know That We Can

Leader: We Should Know That We CanAyatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, paid a visit this Sunday to an exhibition of the achievements of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. He also met with the commanders and personnel of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. Speaking at the meeting, His Eminence described paying a visit to this exhibition as very sweet and unforgettable, stressing: "The most important lesson of this exhibition is that it proves the people of Iran have the talent and the capability to enter difficult arenas - those which the enemy tries to prevent the people of Iran from entering."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution added: "This exhibition delivers a message of innate power and capability to all of us officials and it says that we can."

Criticizing those officials who do not pay attention to this message, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "Unfortunately, our managers in a number of sectors do not understand this message."

His Eminence referred to talent, capability and determination as the most important factors in achieving power, reiterating: "In recent years, we have managed to achieve results in any area we focused our efforts on and in any area we focused the efforts of determined individuals on."

He stated: "I have always been and continue to be an advocate of innovation in the area of foreign policy and negotiations. I have always advised officials to do their best to show innovation in the area of foreign policy and international interactions. But the needs of the country and certain issues such as sanctions should not be tied to negotiations. Officials should resolve the issue of sanctions in a different way."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described this exhibition as a practical example of the talents and capabilities of the people of Iran, saying: "We should know that we can."

Ayatollah Khamenei reiterated that the main reason behind enmities is the independence of the people of Iran and their commitment to Islam and the Holy Quran. He added: "Islam and the Holy Quran invite Muslim peoples to stand on their own feet, to rely on their Islamic and human identity, to have trust in Allah the Exalted and to refuse to give in to oppression and transgression and to global bullies. Therefore, as long as the people of Iran stick to Islam, the Holy Quran and their lofty goals, the enmities of the camp of arrogance will continue to exist."

His Eminence stressed: "The camp of arrogance tries to bring the people of Iran to their knees and to make them retreat, but they will definitely not reach this goal."

Referring to the unreasonable and foolish statements that the western side makes during negotiations - particularly its insistence that Iran should limit its missile power - he said: "They expect Iran to limit its missile program. This is while they constantly issue military threats against Iran. Therefore, such an expectation is stupid and foolish."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution stressed that the unreasonable behavior of the other side will lead to its defeat against the people of Iran. He mentioned: "The Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps should follow up its responsibilities and plans and it should not be satisfied with its current level."

Ayatollah Khamenei called on the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps to increase its products, adding: "This issue is a responsibility. All military officials should make efforts to carry out this responsibility and government officials should consider it one of their main responsibilities to support this."
