Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Friday that the Iranian nation is unique in character and virtue, adding that officials can please Allah by serving the people.
Speaking to a group of officials and representatives from Hamedan province on the last day of his visit, the Leader said any mistake on the part of officials is attributed to Islam and the Islamic system. Thus, all officials should be careful about their remarks and behavior and remain honest toward the nation, he added.
Ayatollah Khamenei stated that combating economic corruption is one of the ways to resolve the current problems.
The Leader stressed that combating corruption requires clean hands, so all government officials should shun vice.
Criticizing those who condemn the young generation for their physical appearance and behavior, Ayatollah Khamenei said the Iranian youth are faithful, pious and greatly interested in Islam, the Islamic Revolution and Iran.
He emphasized that the main duty of scholars is to foster hope among the young generation and resist the aggressive policies of Western powers.
