Education Most Important Job In Country

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said on Monday that Iran should endeavor to make use of all modern methods and technologies in educational fields in order to reach the lofty goals of the Education Ministry and improve the scientific level of teachers and students.

In a meeting with the Education Ministry officials, the Leader stressed that training such people will create a fair, peaceful and honorable society, adding that education is the most important job in the country.

There is a great difference between untrained human forces, which are children and ideal human beings who are wise, intelligent and spiritual and the Education Ministry plays a very significant role in this regard, he said.

Ayatollah Khamenei said the aim behind teaching and training in Islam is to raise ideal human beings, adding that this is a formidable duty the Education Ministry shoulders.

The leader stated that an ideal man favored by Islam is one who is successful both in materialistic and spiritual aspects of life, adheres to ethics and justice, and is interested in attaining spiritual perfection and moving in the right path.

The Education Ministry should use all facilities at its disposal and adopt necessary policies to attain such a lofty goal, he stressed.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the events taking place across the globe are the result of domination of materialism, capitalism and logic of force as well as isolation of spiritual values.

The worst type of violence is being committed and hypocrisy has been given high status under the umbrella of defending the law, order, justice and human rights, he added.

The Leader said despite all its financial, military and political facilities enough to help it attain its objectives, the United States is exerting pressure on certain regional states to change their textbooks, which indicates the important role of teaching and education.

Referring to the Education Ministry's access to valuable intellectual and spiritual elements and the teachers' worthwhile efforts, Ayatollah Khamenei stressed the necessity for multi-dimensional qualities in education.

Describing financial issues as part of the numerous educational needs, he stressed that the ministry should make strenuous efforts to uplift the position of teachers and headmasters and prepare the grounds for further cooperation between parents and schools.
