Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, on Wednesday, October 13, attended the second graduation ceremony of the Islamic Republic Army cadets. The ceremony was held at Shahid Sattari Air Force Academy.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Leader stated that from an Islamic viewpoint, those who are in the army defend human and divine values. "In Islamic culture, a serviceman defends the independence and identity of the nation as well as the values of his religion. Thus, he is considered a Mujahid in the way of Allah," the Leader added and stressed that one of the requirements of jihad in the way of Allah is permanent readiness and preparation.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the faithful Iranian people, by trusting in Allah and relying on their dedicated youth, would never allow the alien powers to dominate this country.
"The Islamic Republic, which has resisted the domineering powers for the past 25 years, is today even more powerful than in the past. What the enemies mainly fear are the faith, bravery and innovation of our nation and our young people," Ayatollah Khamenei noted.
At the ceremony, the model instructors and top-grade graduates received prizes from Leader of the Islamic Republic.
