In a meeting with the vice president, members of the cabinet, the governor of Kurdistan, the Leader's representative in Kurdistan, Kurdistan's representatives in the Assembly of Experts and the Majlis, and different government officials, Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said, that it is necessary to seriously pursue the ratified projects and accelerate the development of this province.
This meeting had been organized following various meetings by provincial and executive authorities. Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized public expectations regarding complete execution of all ratified projects, further reiterating: "Plan in a way that each and every one of these projects is executed meticulously and at an appropriate rate so that the friendly and faithful people of Kurdistan province can see the results after a reasonably short period of time."
His Eminence referred to the capacities of Kurdistan and its natural resources as appropriate areas for investment and creation of job opportunities. "Some of the natural capacities of this region can boost trade in the province."
The Leader described nurturing the exceptional talents of the youth of Kurdistan as a reliable source of progress.
He referred to the current level of security in Kurdistan and advised the people and the officials to be vigilant in the face of continued incitement and plots of the enemies and try to strengthen the security of the province.
His Eminence said that the faithful and loyal people of Kurdistan are always prepared to make sacrifices and defend the country and the Islamic Republic. He further stated that the government officials should rely on the people of Kurdistan province on all fronts.
Ayatollah Khamenei said that the council in charge of development in the western part of the country should seriously carry out its duties. He reiterated that the council should take all facts into consideration and make use of the experience of the MPs of Kurdistan in order to make decisions about the problems of this province. He further added that the decisions should be seriously pursued.
Ayatollah Khamenei also expressed his gratitude to the governor of Kurdistan and said that the efforts made by the current administration to carry out development projects in the province are praiseworthy.
In this meeting, the participants presented a brief report of their respective plans and achievements.
