The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, cast his ballot for the 8th parliamentary elections early Friday morning.
Afterwards, in an address to the audience, the Leader described election days as very decisive and important for the Iranian nation. His Eminence said that the honorable Iranian people by going to polling stations exercise their wills and determine the fate of four years of legislation.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution described timely presence in the elections as one of the best deeds. He recommended that the Iranian nation, whether in Tehran or in other parts of the country, should make full use of its constitutional right to elect its representatives.
Ayatollah Khamenei also took part in the midterm elections for the Assembly of Experts.
