Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei here on Tuesday urged the youth to promote affinity with the Holy Qur'an, stressing that to use the inexhaustible fountain of the Holy Qur'an requires spiritual purity and perpetual relation with the Book.
In a meeting with talented students, Ayatollah Khamenei said memorizing the Holy Qur'an together with its meanings would foster love for the Holy Book.
The leader further stressed that the years of youth are the best in every man's life for understanding the meanings of Qur'anic verses and the heavenly signs embodied therein.
Describing the talented students as the national assets of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei called on the students to promote vigilance against the plots of the enemies and increase their knowledge in order to be able to serve the Iranian nation better.
Ayatollah Khamenei said the state-run institutions must encourage the students to help flourish their abilities.
The Leader also said that the Iranian youth have obtained the self-confidence and courage to become the world's leading scientific power.
