On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Holy Prophet's daughter, Hazrat Zahra (greetings be upon her), a group of eulogists of the Holy Prophet's Household met the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, on Saturday, August 7.
Speaking at the gathering, the Leader congratulated the audience and all the faithful adherents of the Holy Prophet's Household on the auspicious birth anniversary. The Leader stressed that the great respect and admiration expressed by Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and Shia Imams (greetings be upon them) as well as all the Shia and Sunni scholars and ulema for Hazrat Zahra (greetings be upon her) indicate her noble character and great personality.
Ayatollah Khamenei called the Holy Prophet's daughter the lasting source of spirituality and virtues. He said that Muslim women should follow the example set by Hazrat Zahra (greetings be upon her).
"The Holy Prophet's daughter has set the best model for Muslims with respect to both individual and social aspects of life, and following her example would ensure Muslims' prosperity and salvation both in this world and in the hereafter," The Leader noted.
Further in his remarks, the Leader called on the eulogists to try to promote the virtues and values that were introduced by Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), Hazrat Zahra (greetings be upon her) and Infallible Imams (greetings be upon them) and convey the political, social and moral lessons that were taught by them to the people, especially the young generation, through the language of poetry and by means of different arts.
