The Grand Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei visited the Mines-and-Industries Exhibition in the city of Sarcheshmeh during his tour of Kerman Province on Sunday, May 8.
The achievements made in the mineral and some related industrial areas, information on the exploration for mines, data on the country's copper mines and industry, plans to develop the copper industry and some related environmental projects were put on display at the exhibition.
Some pavilions of the exhibition had been allotted to iron ore, coal, gold, zinc, lead, phosphates and aluminum, providing information concerning their mines and industries.
During his visit to the exhibition, the Leader was briefed by the officials in charge of the country's industries and mines and the directors of the pavilions on their operations and activities.
