The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei held a memorial ceremony in commemoration of the late Ayatollah Hajji Mirza Javad Tabrizi on Saturday, November 25.
A number of senior government officials, including President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi-Shahroudi and some members of the Cabinet, and also some high-ranking military commanders attended the ceremony.
A large group of the faithful Tehran residents also took part in the memorial service, which was held at Shahid Motahhari Higher Education School from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
