Members of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations (SCFR) met the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei on Tuesday, May 1.
Speaking at the meeting, the Leader described as 'useful and beneficial to the future of the country' the efforts made by the SCFR members to draw up the country's strategic and fundamental policies. He stated that fixing the criteria for attaining the objectives envisioned by the 20-Year Perspective Document is one of the most important duties of the council.
Ayatollah Khamenei also expressed his appreciation for the sincere efforts and services of the SCFR members and advised them to further benefit from the views of experts and elites.
The SCFR chairman Kamal Kharrazi, also speaking at the meeting, presented a report about the council's performance during the past year.
