The disastrous flood in the Provinces of East and West Azerbaijan, Ardabil, and Kurdistan, which claimed the lives of numerous dear compatriots while bringing about heavy financial damages, is an extremely painful and sorrowful incident. With deepest sorrow and grief, I offer my condolences and sympathy to the survivors and the victims; furthermore, I ask God to grant them patience and peace at heart, as well as divine mercy and forgiveness for the deceased. The officials’ urgent duty is to help the grieving and the victims in order to reduce their pain and sorrow. It is necessary that no delay and negligence be made in performing this duty. I hope God will bestow His grace, bounty, and assistance upon the victims and those assisting with aid.
