5 Recommendations by Ayatollah Khamenei for young documentary makers

Following a friendly meeting among a group of young documentary film makers and the Leader of the Revolution on January 11, 2018, Ayatollah Khamenei recommended five points, the next day, in a message addressed to young documentary film makers. The text of the message of the Leader of the Revolution is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Beneficient, the Most Merciful:

Dear youthful documentary film makers, following the friendly gathering last night, [I would like to recommend you to] keep these points in mind:

1. Maintain the revolutionary approach perfectly. Technical effects and professional reputation must not overcome the revolutionary integrity of your work. With pride, with your words and practice, show that you are devout revolutionary people.

2. The enemy's soft war is based on lies, rumors, censorship and boycotts; your art can nulify the work of the enemy by providing authentic proof. The forty-year history represents a myriad of documents that prove the rightfulness of the Islamic Republic and the distortion and inequity of its enemies.

3. One of the main goals of the enemy is to promote pessimism and disappointment; there are plenty of causes for hope in the country. Your art can be the source of hope, enthusiasm, and dynamism by relying on the facts.

4. Critical documentaries are useful and necessary. The tone of the work must be informative while offering solutions. In a critique, a hostile and disappointing tone that invokes anger will turn its usefulness into a detriment. By using satire and humor, a work can be more effective and articulate.

5. Seek God's content through your work, and ask for His help.

God's peace and blessings be upon you.

Number four says it best. I do doubt they'll take the advice. Iran seems to be going in a very liberal direction.
